The New Zealand Business Roundtable has upgraded its website www.nzbr.org.nz to provide easier access to its extensive collection of public policy research and publications and to make use of social media.
The new-look website includes a research centre comprising Business Roundtable publications dating back over 25 years, speeches, articles, submissions, media releases and audio and video recordings, as well as its more recent e-Connect and Perspectives series.
Along with significant improvements in navigation and search facilities, the new website links to executive director Roger Kerr’s new blog, http://rogerkerr.wordpress.com/ which aims to share comments and material on public policy, economics and related matters of interest.
The Business Roundtable’s Facebook, Twitter and Vimeo pages can also be accessed via the website home page. A new events section includes information on regular, recent and upcoming Business Roundtable events, as well as links to photographs from past events.
Biographies and photographs of current Business Roundtable members are also included, along with information about members and consultants who are available to take on speaking engagements.
Business Roundtable chairman Rob McLeod said the new website would increase the accessibility of the organisation’s resources to an ever-growing online audience.
“The Business Roundtable has had an internet presence for many years and the relaunch of the website simply brings us into line with current online trends.
“We are committed to promoting informed debate on public policy and the enhanced website will enable the Business Roundtable to connect and interact with a much wider audience.”
